Somatic Experiencing®
- Non Cathartic Chronic Stress and Trauma Integration -
A gentle path home to your body, your truth, your wholeness
It’s not just a way to resolve trauma.
It’s a way to soften the grip of the past, reclaim the present moment, and rediscover who you are beneath patterns of tension, anxiety, numbness, or overdrive.
Somatic Experiencing® is an invitation to reawaken that natural intelligence
Even when the mind forgets, the body remembers. And sometimes, the body holds on, not to punish us, but because it didn’t get a chance to complete what it instinctively knew how to do: survive, respond, release.
Who is Somatic Experiencing® For?
When we experience overwhelming stress—whether acute or chronic—our nervous system may get stuck in survival modes: fight, flight, freeze, or collapse. Over time, these unresolved patterns shape how we feel, relate, and live. They can keep us:
On high alert, always worrying for what’s next
Feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, overwhelm, or shutdown
Impacted by Accidents or unfortunate life events
Locked in Self-Doubt, shame or confusion
Cut off from your emotions or from others
Sense that talk therapy alone isn’t reaching the roots
Want to feel more embodied, present, and real
Are integrating experiences from plant medicine, spiritual practices
Long to live with more ease, depth, and connection
Feeling like something is “off,” but not knowing what
Whether you come with a clear story or just a quiet sense that something’s not quite aligned—there is space for you here.
Somatic Experiencing® works directly with the nervous system, not through rehashing stories, but through gentle, body-based awareness, helping the system discharge stored survival energy and restore regulation at a foundational level.

What a Somatic Experiencing® Session Is Like
Our work together is slow, attuned, and respectful to your body and its processes. We will learn how to listen, to feel safe and we’ll follow your pace and your body’s subtle cues.
In sessions, we may explore:
Both the story and the responses of your body
Sensations, images, impulses, emotions
How you notice safety, or the lack of it
Slowing down and creating safe space for what is to be felt
Micro-movements, gestures, and grounding
Pendulation: gently moving between activation and regulation
